Questions to Ask Yourself When Choosing a Kids’ Entertainer
December 7, 2017
Hiring a professional children’s entertainer is something you want to get right the first time. Your child’s happiness is important and feeling the pressure ease of your shoulders is just as important.
Without further ado, here are some questions you should ask yourself before hiring a kids’ party entertainer:
1. Will My Child be Interested in What the Entertainer Has to Offer?
Maybe your child has always wanted to have a Harry Potter theme party or perhaps something that revolves around fun science. Always look for a kids’ entertainer who able to meet your child’s entertainment needs.
Gone are the days of children’s party entertainers trying to amuse everyone with magic tricks or juggling balls while attempting to ride a unicycle. Of course, that is not to say that there is a shortage of talented magicians and jugglers that make for great kids’ entertainers, but kids today have gotten far more advanced. They are more into a kids disco party or cool theme parties revolving around pirates.
2. Is My Entertainer Communicative?
It is important, in fact, let us reiterate that: it is very important for your kids’ entertainer to be open to communication as your kid may have special needs. Even if that is not the case, your children might want to see a specific magic trick or routine that they have always wanted. Discuss up front with your entertainer so as to what he/she is capable of. This leaves little to no room for disappointment.
All you have to do is just ask and your entertainer can tell you exactly what the kids are in for.
3. Is the Entertainment Age Appropriate for my Kids?
Your kids party entertainer will generally present you with age guidelines to let you know if the show they are about to present is age appropriate for your child. However, you might feel that a show recommended for ages 6 to 11 may or may not be suitable for your 4-year old, who absolutely aces every Science and Math class. Sometimes, kids crave more intellectual forms of entertainment, in which case you are better off having a science show than a troll party.
4. Does the Children’s Entertainer Come Highly Recommended?
A good kids’ entertainment company will always have a section on their site dedicated to customer testimonials. Even if they don’t, you should always ask for a few. In addition, many companies offering character-focused entertainment actually have some of their staff members act as the same character. In this case, some might be better than others, depending on your child’s unique entertainment preferences. Don’t be shy to ask for a review of the specific entertainer who will be performing on the day of the party.
Parties in Wonderland really does live up to its name with some of the most fabulous children’s party entertainers in London, Essex, Birmingham and other parts of the UK. Each party will enchant and delight your child with non-stop entertainment.
